I really like the pickled plum soda. It might be an acquired taste but I am a fan of eating dried pickled plums by itself.

The pho was good with the oxtail broth. There wasn’t a lot of choices for pho like you would usually see at a pho shop but still a good place if you’re craving pho and don’t want to trek further into Queens.

Smorgasburg Queens

Smorgasburg Queens is deceptively small. What I didn’t realize was there was an inside area when I walked by it the night before.  I would say there was about 15+ vendors total on Saturday last week.

The lobster and duck confit roll was good, but maybe not 19 dollars good. I would have prefered two more arepas from the arepa lady instead! As you can tell, I really liked the arepa. It was my first time having an arepa and I wish I can get just the flatbread by itself everyday. That sweetness with the corn and cheese is delicious. For the last stop, Wooly’s was a good choice. I enjoyed the pop rocks in my mouth with some shaved ice. Mmmm.. shaved ice.

Tip: Try going with someone who you can share food with so you can try more things! #howtofeellesslikeapig
